Human
Physical description: You and me bub. (and the guy down the street staring at you through his telescope…Stupid perverts! *runs to hide in corner*)
Special abilities/aptitudes: Learn quickly, then again they also die quickly.
Where found: Everywhere. (Like those hard-boiled eggs you find in bars that always taste a little funny.)
Lifespan: Typically 45-70 years.
Culture: Diverse (quick to adopt others cultures)
Typical jobs: Anything (You just can’t get rid of them! Kind of like rats…*hmm, lovely rat hunts*)
Elven
Physical description: Taller then humands with slightly pointed ears, think Tolkien, D&D ect…<br>Special abilities/aptitudes: The elven live extremely long compared to humans and posses very keen eyesight.
Where found: Forests, and some cities
Lifespan: Some are known to be over 700 years, but not even they know exactly. (age at about 1/10 the speed humans)
Culture: Tribal/Feudal
Typical jobs: Aristocracy, woodsman, scholar, diplomats
Dwarves
Physical description: The fa-stocky people. On average about three to four feet tall with very long beards. (this includes the females.) Typically lighter skintones, with dark hair that almost invariably turns white or grey by age 190.
Special abilities/aptitudes: Dark vision, unusually strong.
Where found: Rocky regions/cities
Lifespan: 200-300 years
Culture: Feudal
Typical jobs: Mining, blacksmithing, merchants.
Fae
Physical description: The diverse fairy. While there are many specific types, they generally grow six inches tall, with large wings.
Special abilities/aptitudes: water- swim and breath water. Air, fire and earth can fly. all are very good with magic, yet not overly intelligent on average.
Where found: Everywhere
Lifespan: 20-25 years
Culture: unknown native culture, adopt whatever culture they grow up in.
Typical jobs: too small to hold most jobs, though some are assitants to larger people.
Goblin
Physical description: Smeagle... puny, about three feet tall, brown or greenish skin, yellow, red, or black eyes, teeth are all canine(like a wolves) though some goblins file these down to resemble human teeth.
Special abilities/aptitudes: Incredibly intelligent, cannot control magic very well..
Where found: Cities, isolated towers
Lifespan: 45-75 years
Culture: Quick to adopt others culture
Typical jobs: scientist, engineer, scholar, farmer.
*Over-sized, over-intelligent animals. (call them what you want.)
Physical description: It all depends on the animal, simply oversized animals some able to speak through magic or act human in nature (Exp. the adorable pandas I post about)
Special abilities/aptitudes: Average intelligence, Average physical, just you average joe without fingers. Can talk with animals of their own race(big bears can talk to bears, big wolves can talk to wolves, ect), however, they must fight their animal instincts(run from fire, eat available prey when hungry, ect.)
Where found: Cities, villages, country, where ever they feel.
Lifespan: 45-75 years
Culture: Quick to adopt others culture
Typical jobs: Farmer, merchants, sailors, nothing that requires fingers, commoners.
*This means ENTIRELY animalistic, Anthro of a sort but NOT humans with cat ears and tails. I repeat, ENTIRELY animalistic in physical appearence.
Name:Merki
Physical description: Slightly taller than humans, scaled skin, internal ears. Other than that, entirely humanoid.
Aptitudes/abilities: Coldblooded, allowing them increased speed in very hot situations, but cursign them with much slower actions and thoughts in freezing weather, until around -20 degrees centigrade when they enter a cryogenic hibernation, essentially dead until it warms back up.
Lifespan: 60-80 years active, can live indefinatly while frozen, and frozen time is not added to age and does not affect lifespan.
Culture: An odd culture, valuing travel more than anything else. Merki have no 'family' unit, but will embrace all other travelers with hospitality, unless provoked to do otherwise. Upon meeting anyone, it is customary for them to exchange gifts(normally minor things).
Typical jobs: mercenary, traveler, merchant.
Other special notes:(optional) most known Merki come from far to the east of mapped Dynawd (central asia), although some merchants and other travelers have settled around here. Traditionally, Merki have no knowledge of water-going vessels, but are superb horse-men.
