Two animistic religions, they quarrel only rarely amongts eachotehr, and then primarily over holy places, and the fights rarely kill anyone.
Eryians are normally found on dry land, and Theagians almost exclusively near water. The division between the two religions is academic, really. Certain ceremonies are not shared between the two, but many are common to both religions.
They believe that every animal and plant has its own divine soul, a spirit for every race, and that these souls can be called upon to aid the followers by granting them the powers of the animal/plant they personify. When this happens, the chosen soul becomes a totem to teh follower. Some Eryies and Theagians are so in tune with their totem, sometimes from birth, that it takes on a semi-physical form akin to a wizards familiar and allows them to use the animals(or plants) senses instead of their own. These totems/familiars can intereract witht he physical realm if they choose to (normally at the direction of the one they follow).
Dependign on a persons totem, they may marry another person, have mutliple marriages(though this is rare) never mate, mate with many people, but then forget them, and so on.
These two religions are typically considered inferior by the others religions(with 'true' gods) and are often overlooked.
Priestly magic from these includes alteration of the priests physical body to resemble that of his/her totem, summoning animals, manipulation of water(Theagians only) and ability to communicate with animals on basic levels.
