The Sole-ists believe that their god(Kyar) will take the loyal, the desearving into a paradise with him at their death. However, they foribd anyone to kill, or maim, or seriously wound anyone else, at pain of eternity in Kyars toture halls until they have paid their penance, at which point they are simply destroyed or else welcomed into paradise with everyoen else. In the mortal world, they believe that those who use violence should be drowned with a blessed rock tied about their waist, so that they will not increase their evil, and thus extend their punishment. The rock is said to tether their sould to Kyars favor, in hopes that would be merciful and bring them into paradise after their punishment.
Kyarians use every method they can of persuading other religions to convert, and, ocassionaly, a devote believer will condemn himself to torture in order to show Kyars power to unbelievers(normally by destroying a holy place or killing a leader, or slaughtering a congregation) in order to bring more to Kyar. Kyar is said to never notice when one of his faithful strike down a heretic Priest, or one who uses his teachings perversly.
Kyarians are not encouraged to remain chaste or to marry, but they are forbidden from marrying more than one person, may divorce, and may remarry another person as soon as on year after a divorce or the death of a spouse. Matign outsid ethe confounds of marraige is reason excommunication.
The magics given to Kyars priests normally grant great strength to the priest, or mend the body, though some rumor that they are capable of causng the heart or mind or lungs of unbelievers to cease functioning, resulting in painful deaths, or life as an automaton.
